Backwoods Security is currently seeking experienced full-time Security Guards to work Edmonton Vulnerable Sector
Wage: $18.00 / Hour
Shift: 8 - 12 Hour shifts

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by patrolling and monitoring premises
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect building, equipment, and access points
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain if necessary
- Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team or individually
- Visitor Management, CCTV Monitoring
Job Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years experience in a high risk environment: low income or homeless shelters, etc. (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Security Guard position (preferred)
- Valid Alberta security License (required)
- Valid First Aid Certification (required)
- Driver’s License (required)
Certificates/ License:
Valid Security Guard License (Alberta), Standard First Aid required
Language Requirement:
- Must speak and read English fluently
Experience:
- Security Guard: 2-3 years (preferred)
- Homeless Shelter/ Vulnerable Sector: 2-3 year (required)
